Safety, Lockers, and Luggage Storage
Question: Is Puerto Rico safe to travel to?
Answer: Absolutely, Puerto Rico is a very safe island that has a relatively low crime rate. Hurricanes do affect the island, but only for a few months of each year.
Question: Do you have lockers to store my bags in?
Answer: Of course, every room includes a personal locker for each guest to store a backpack and a large piece of luggage. There is also a storage room available for guests who arrive early or depart later.
Check-In, Check-Out, Late Checkout, and Overnight Check-In
Question: What time is check-in?
Answer: Check-in starts at 2 PM, but if our beds are ready before we are happy to check guests in early.
Question: What time is check-out?
Answer: Check-out is at 11 AM daily. However, late checkout at 1 PM is available for an extra $3.50 USD.
Question: I’m arriving late at night, can I still check in?
Answer: Yes, we have someone at reception 24/7, so we can check guests in at any time.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Hostel Kitchen
Question: Is breakfast included?
Answer: Yes, every guest has complimentary access to our full breakfast from 7-10:30 AM.
Question: Do you offer lunch?
Answer: Yes, we have a delicious and budget-friendly lunch menu featuring a variety of foods from different countries. Open from 12-6 PM.
Question: Do you have a kitchen I can cook in?
Answer: Yes, we have a complete kitchen with two stoves, two ovens, and two refrigerators that anyone can use.
Pets & Allergy Info
Question: Can I bring my pets to RTW Hostel?
Answer: We love pets, but to maintain an allergy-free environment, we keep the hostel pet-free.
Question: I have many allergies, do you have a first aid kit at the hostel?
Answer: Yes, we have first aid kits available at the front desk and in the kitchen.
Parking
Question: Is there somewhere to park my car?
Answer: Yes, we have plenty of space on the north side of the hostel for guests to park their cars at.
Surfboard, Bike, and Boat Rentals
Question: Can I rent a surfboard from RTW?
Answer: Yes, we have 4 surfboards that are available to rent for $20/day on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Question: Do you have bikes I can rent?
Answer: Yes, we have 8 bikes that are available to rent for $5/day.
Question: Is there somewhere I can rent a boat nearby?
Answer: Absolutely, we partner with a local agency at the Boqueron Marina that can offer boats for up to 8 guests.
